Corner store late at night
Owner working 'til daylight
All of a sudden, to shock and stun
In ran robber, complete with gun
Give me the money and don't mess about!
This young thug was heard to shout
But he hadn't reckoned on the bloke at the back
Who ran to the front, gave robber a WHACK!
Robber unconscious, nobody hurt
Maybe some sweat on the owner's shirt
The moral? You don't need capes or tights
This regular bloke's the hero tonight
