At the end of my garden there is a hole
It wasn't left there by a mole
Great big thing, it's 6ft wide
And I don't know what lies inside
Every day and every night
Can't see in, there is no light
I'll have to jump in, just to see
Satisfy my curiosity
I fell for what seemed like a day
I knew not what would come my way
So I started walking in the dark
Feeling for a sign, a mark
Then flicker, flash, darkness raised
I have to say I was amazed
A room of treasure, secret things
Prizes only knowledge brings
The answer to who shot JFK
Is Simon Cowell secretly gay?
Does the Pope get pissed when no-one's looking?
And why does no-one like my cooking?
Were the moon landings for real?
All this knowledge I did steal
So with the secrets that I took
I left the hole, to write my book!
But to my dismay, out in the sun
I'd forgotten every single one
For all the knowledge that I stole
Can only be learnt whilst in the hole...
