Who wouldn't let anyone in His doors remained locked Bolted, barricaded, blocked As if opening them would be a sin

A pretty young maiden named Betty Had heard of Flynns love of spaghetti She'd cooked up a plan To win her a man Staying indoors seemed so petty

So she made a massive plate And left it at his gate The smell of her food Was just too damned good This was it, her chance for a date!

And as Flynn opened his door Betty rushed him, they fell to the floor Flynn couldn't resist He and Betty kissed And yes, there was more in store

It was the talk of the town How to bring defences down Flynn married Betty Not just for spaghetti She was the jewel in his crown

A moral for this limerick tale? You're heading for an epic fail If you continue like Flynn And let nobody in You'll end up a lonely old male...
