Sitting at the traffic lights
I vaguely looked across
And I am glad I did
For it would have been my loss
In that fleeting moment
A lovely thing to see
This pretty looking girl
Was staring back at me
It seemed to last forever
Our eyes, it seemed, had locked
I'd forgotten where I was
And my morning world was rocked
Bluest eyes and long brown hair
And she wore a happy smile
A shame the lights were changing
Please stay red for just a while
But they went to green
And the mystery girl was gone
But what a lovely vision
To remember from hereon
What a crying shame
That she had to go away
Still, just for a moment
The world was all ok

@leelee101 are you sure she didn't just have a squint mate? Been caught out by that many times myself! ππ
Lovely when that happens isn't it? For a split second you think 'If only we could stop & talk-I KNOW he/she would be the one for me....' Complete rubbish, but, oh, how the mind plays us...π
