Uncle Walt does Hallowe'en
The likes of which I've never seen
Mickey pumpkins everywhere
And sure, the magic's in the air
But something doesn't seem quite right
As I walked along Maine St. last night
Mickey, Donald, Goofy - check
It rained again - pain in the neck
Not a problem, we carried on
Too much to see before you're gone
Parades were fine, fireworks great
A highlight in the Orange State
I'm glad I went don't get me wrong
But the day was far too long
And you all know me - I'm not cold
The problem is I've gotten old
I love Walt's films, they are a hit
His World is fine, nothing wrong with it
But for me the magic's lost
Now I've seen what you get for the cost
Just loads of gift shops and places to eat
Just a few rides in the Florida heat
Just screaming kids over excited and tired
Just your holiday bucks are required
Just trying to find some kind of seat
Just want to take the weight of my feet...
Extraordinary place, as big as a state
Needs a monorail to get to the car park mate!
Back at the hotel, on the bed in a heap
Counting Mickey pumpkins instead of sheep
Pleased that I went, but in my head
I know I'll stick to their films instead...
