There were tantrums and tears
At this bash for New Years
Plenty of booze
And tempers to lose
And it was the kids
Whose night hit the skids
Party hosted by their mother
But they left for another
Small fights ensued
As they started to brood
This led to more
Just outside the back door
One girl crying
Boyfriend extremely trying
But it was all alright
And we made midnight
As fireworks went BOOM
Host asleep in the front room
Hostess didn't much care
Too busy letting down her hair
So it was booze and some tears
But a Happy New Years
Just woken up
Time for my morning cup
Mrs Lee is hanging
Head big time banging
I'm pretty much ok
Suppose later I'll pay...
