My trip has turned a different page
An 80's legend takes the stage
No more painted face, glasses instead
And a Napoleon hat upon his head
But the braided jacket of the Hussars
Has returned from the time he was a star
Lots of B-sides and early stuff
The man is a great and I couldn't get enough
Strutting the stage like a proud peacock

Dog Eat Dog and Goody Two Shoes
With a playlist like this he couldn't lose
The original King of the Wild Frontier
Yes folks Adam Ant was here
Playing on the Hard Rock stage
This hero of mine from a different age
Most people there to look cool of course
But I knew 'em all and sang myself hoarse!
I may well have been the loudest one there
But with antmusic in my heart, I didn't care...
