As I lay here, 'au naturelle'
Waiting for the morning bell
Something's wrong, I'm not that old
Tell you what, I'm bloody cold
I look across, you're alright
You've been tucked in half the night
And on your face no sign of guilt
Even though you've nicked the quilt!
When I move underneath the cover
It's stays put, like any other
But when you shift, the quilt goes too
Just like Velcro, it's stuck to you
Now I don't want to fuss or fight
On lack of coverage at night
But this double bed weren't built
For you to hog the bloody quilt
Not so bad all thru the summer
But in the winter, what a bummer
'Cos that is when my ass will freeze
I'm begging you, I'm on my knees
Just let me have a little piece
Of something that by night you fleece
A tog rating of 10.2
Is great when it's surrounding you
It'll be the same again tonight
So let me just bring this to light
Be warmer bedding with the dog
'Did you sleep well, love?' Oh yeah, like a log...
