Rock star checked himself out Hair, teeth and famous pout Still playing live At age sixty five And suffering badly with gout
Yet despite his advancing years And against his doctors fears He'd play to the crowd By Christ! They're loud Too much for his elderly ears
So after a couple of songs He's off, 'cos his voice ain't that strong When younger, you see He'd last easily His set list was two hours long
But rock star doesn't care About his thinning hair His royalty cheques Are better than sex And it's us that are keeping him there
