The luscious Ruby Dazzler Was a stripper of repute And she spent her evenings In her birthday suit She really was a beauty Best of 'em by a mile Ruby Dazzler took the stage Wearing nothing but a smile Then life dealt her a wild card In the shape of Diamond Dan A hustler at the best of times But he became her man He took Ruby places She never dreamed she'd go But Diamond Dan had seedy plan And it would dim her glow Dan had thought, that body Could earn me serious money So on the quiet, he pimped her Ruby Dazzler, punters honey Ruby knew that it was wrong But she loved her Dan She suffered many heartbreaks Then violence raised its hand Fresh bruises nearly every day She knew it was for best Took carving knife from kitchen And stabbed him in the chest

Now Ruby's pushing fifty And drinks nothing but tea She's of no age to take the stage Curves where there shouldn't be She went back to the stripping To try to earn some pay Only pubs and lowlife clubs Would give her time of day So now with one admirer left And with a sense of sorrow She undresses for the mirror And thinks, maybe tomorrow...
