There's a girl here today
In a hi-viz jacket
Ear plugs in
To protect from the racket
Clipboard? Check
And a power suit
You wear it well
But I don't give a hoot
Earplugs to me
Are miserable things
Can't even hear
When my drills start to sing
Squidge 'em to fit
So you can hear nowt
And when you're finished
You can't get 'em out
Here she comes
I'll smile as she passes
My hearing is blocked
And I'm wearing my glasses
But hang on a minute
Oh what a farce
She's wearing high heels!
