There's a girl in my dream
And she commands invisibility
Oh how she flaunts and teases
And taunts
As she moves through a crowd
Unseen
But with a presence felt
She lays a morselled trail
To let me know where she's been
She plays a game
But like her, it's easy to see through
She knows the power she wields
So easily, and breezily
She fires off her scent
Pheromonal tracer rounds
This game of hide and seek
All shied and sleek
Has made her darker
Has made all of her
As transparent as air
You may think she's there
But you're chasing crystal clear shadows
They're all she has
To prove an existence
Day by day, hurt grows
Invisible, maybe
But it shows
And after a lifetime
Spent hiding in plain sight
Her teasing invisibility
Great responsibility
When all that's left
Apart from the tears
Is her see through heart...
