They say the simple things
Sometimes are the best
So with stepson in attendance
I put it to the test
We invited him to dinner
Asked him what he'd like
He said steak and chips
We joked, said on your bike
But half an hour later
Couple of glasses on the go
Steak with pepper sauce
Conversation flow
Another half an hour
Dinner time is done
Bit of washing up
For the missus and my son
Something really easy
Turned out to be so nice
Keep it good and simple
That is my advice...
