Here's a morning story
Of two worlds in which I live
One I share with you guys
And the other with a div
Pulled into the car park
Thought I'd share the news
Maybe it'd be pleasant
To get a workmates views
So I told him the whole story
He just gave a vacant look
Said to me, 'Where's this then?'
I said, gently, 'In a book. '
I kept the story shortish
So he would understand
Instead he stood and farted
And waved it around by hand
And then he buggered off
I could feel myself deflate
I weren't expecting much
Maybe a simple 'Well done mate'
Not sure why I bothered
Even opening my gob
And I've really no idea
Why I thought of telling Bob...
