The girl with the wild red hair Came to the cliff face stair And with a wave of her sonic wings Took me absolutely everywhere
She threw a shape and threw her head back Opened her songbook at night times page And as a single stars light shone upon her She made my mind a wondrous stage
She took her tea in a seamstresses thimble I took a sip and found it sweet Made me think of all the times before When through her songbook we would meet
All too soon her song was over And her book was closed and put away Starlight fading in the rapture Only to return for others, on another day
With a smile, she simply turned And with precious songbook under her wing Descended from the cliff face stair In the knowledge she'd taught me something
On a day of many questions No-one asked which book I read The girl with the wild red hair Really is the only Faith I need...
