It's only little, isn't it?
So with everybody ready Faces turned toward the sky Waiting for the moment The meteorite would fly by
But a couple of shooting stars Was all the people got They went home disappointed But there was something else to spot
For later than expected Something a meter wide Burned up in the atmosphere But the scientists had lied
Safe aboard the I.S.S. Shots from the Hubble telescope Told the scientists the news With which we humans couldn't cope
For if that was just the warm up Then here comes the main event No surviving this one That much is evident
Screaming at the Earth At 50,000 miles per hour Didn't matter where it hit 1000 times Hiroshimas power
And as the planet started burning The scientists scratched their head Well, we got away with that one And there's always Mars instead...
