Marvello the Magician didn't know a single trick
Yet his sleight of hand was awesome even with fingers that thick
So each time he took the stage the audience would hiss and jeer
They paid to see illusions, not a clown who stank of beer
Ever since he started out the Magic Circle said, 'No way'
Right then, thought Marvello. I'll show you all some day
It still remains a mystery to those who saw his final show
Old Marvello disappeared into thin air, where did he go?
Unbeknownst to them, his favourite trick, performed at speed
So where's their cash and jewels?
Hmmm, mysterious indeed...
