Tonight's the night, how will it go?
Will I be too fast or go too slow?
A little nervous, a little shaky
A little older, a little achy
Hope my drumsticks do not break
And no-one hears mistakes I make!
For there'll be a couple, it's true
Because it's been a year or two
But I don't care, I'll use my flair
Try to please the people there
Should be a laugh, hour long set
Keep it simple I reckon, best bet
But if there's time for drum solo
Don't hold me back, just let me go!
