There's a circus in town,
It just appeared,
No warning before,
But now it's here,
Every little thing,
Painted black,
Though the sun shining,
There is a light it lacks,
Everything's inverted,
Shadows Creep towards the sun,
Daemons come out in the day,
When the circus has begun,
When the sun is setting,
Angels appear,
The circus glows,
With light that's not there,
Though the woods are filled,
With nocturnal beasts,
People watch acts,
With popcorn and sweets,
And when the day comes,
When daemons arrive,
People flee,
Scared for their lives,
These daemons aren't subtle,
They don't creep through the night,
They throw circus shows,
In broad daylight.

This is "strange" indeed, haha. :) But it is also haunting and although I don't get the whole meaning, it speaks to me of something deeper. I take it to be the imagining of a poet's mind, and those know no bounds... At any rate, I love it.
