I look down at the surface,
A crystal clear pool,
My reflection looks back,
An image of my soul,
I don't see a girl,
I don't see my face,
I see something different,
Just out of place,
I see a beast,
A creature of sorts,
With a face like a lion,
And a mane like a horse,
Elegant wings,
Gold, green and red,
Spread out in an arc,
Over its head,
It's trapped in a cage,
A crystal clear pool,
It may never come out,
But it's my soul.

I'm 15 year old girl in south west London, love to read and love to write, however not at writing non-fiction. I love art too and I follow people back :) #projecthumanity

It's fine I just wanted her to see since its so good hey does the color challenge tag have to be spelled like the UK way (colour) or can it be the american way? Al's does the opuss have to be a poem? O r can it be any format. Sorry for the the questions. I'm just a curious little girl 😜
@Klaire doesn't have to be a poem- whatever way you shoes to write is fine... Also I spelled it 'colour', only copying what it was before :)
@liberty love this- imagination type is sort of like mine, a great write with hidden mysteries... Well done x
