If you could read my mind, you'd be in tears. I smile through the pain, and say I don't feel it at all. I don't cry or whine or anything, I sit there smiling. And they don't think a thing of it.
Rip my heart. Feed upon my soul. Take all I love. And all I've ever known. Steal my hope. Puncture my pride. Ruin my dreams. And those who I confide. Kick my ego. Jab my luck. Catch me alone.
Dark surrounds my eyes,. And lines on my face deepen,. Just a side effect for the lies,. That I have been keeping,. The ache in my feet,. And the stiffness of my back,. Shows the many defeats,.
If only the pain would go. So that I could feel normal. People passing by don't seem to notice. If only the pain would go. Returning me back to the way I was. I don't want to feel like this anymore.
Pain and sorrow, why do these feelings have to exist. What does life gain by making me feel hollow.

I stare at my reflection in the mirror, Looking back at me was someone I did not recognise. A look of pain in my glass blue eyes, All the anger was deep down inside.
Most of the time. I am never happy. You can't see this in me. I smile a lot. When im not even happy. I smile because im crazy. I smile because im insane. I smile because im in pain.
