I look up with hope,
Searching for a star.
But all I see,
Is a dot strayed too far.
I gaze up high,
Looking for some love.
But all I see is lumps,
Held up above.
I glare into the black,
Strength steadily prevailing.
Sure enough there's nothing,
My hope is failing.
But then I double take,
Spotting something new.
Up high hangs the moon,
The stars, planets, you.
