I have decided, as well as posting English I will post some poems from books I like.
Book: captain beaky written by Jeremy Lloyde
The spider king
The absent minded spider king
Couldn't quite do anything
And thro' his web the flies all flew
For he'd forgot to use the glue
And when he did he wasn't clever
He'd get his legs all stuck together
And falling like a bouncing ball
He'd end up sticking to the wall
And mutter with exasperation
" another sticky situation"
What's the fun in being king
When you can't do anything?
