When we got to the lagoon, I sat down do that I could see Sam, he looked even more beautiful than normal!
"I can't believe that it worked!" I squealed excitedly,
"why don't we go out and celebrate?"
"ohh yeah! Where should we go? You choose Sam"
"ok... Umm what about The peacock feather?"
I stared at Sam, the peacock feather was the most expensive restaurant around,
"but one drink is like ยฃ10!"
"Resme you did see my house, I'm a wealthy guy"
"well I have to get dressed"
"ok meet you in 1 hour"
"ok bye hun"
I kissed him on the cheek and ran home.
I searched around in my wardrobe, I found a beautiful dress, it was a dark navy with tiny pearls around the waist line. I pulled it on, it was a snug fit but it showed of my figure nicely. I put on a pair of new blue converse, I couldn't wear heels! I put on a layer of mascara and some eye liner, I didn't need lip gloss my lips were red enough! I rushed down stair to check the time, 5 minutes to go. I sat down and waited for the bell to ring. It felt like an other hour until the bell went even though it was only 5 minutes. I rushed to the door playing with my hair to make sure it was ok, Sam was wearing a neat black suit with a white t-shirt underneath. He had a pair of trainers on as well!
"wow you look amazing Resme" he gawped at me for awhile
"so do you! Didn't know you had a suit!"
"I'm a man of mysteries"
He chuckled at his own joke which wasn't really funny!!? He handed me a small box with a neat purple ribbon tied around it,
"what's this?" I asked
"open it and you'll see"
I opened it carefully there was a pair of sapphire earrings,
"oh there so beautiful Sam, thank you so much! I love them"
"I thought you would like it, they bring out the colour of your eyes!"
I decided to wear them for the night.
We walked casually to the restaurant and gave the butler a tip so that he would give us a good table. We sat down and looked at the menus,
"what are you gonna have?" I asked him
"well what's good for my new diet?"
I was slightly confused at the question, what new diet?
"if you mean the wolf thing probably a steak!"
"oh ok is that what you'll have?"
"yep"
A neatly dressed butler walked to are table
"are you ready to order sir, Madame?"
"yes thank you, um two steals and salad and you know what else"
Sam winked at the waiter like there was a secret I didn't know
"yes sir" he smiled at me the way Sam did if he wasn't telling me something.
I frowned at Sam, he smiled and winked at me
"tell me what's going on!"
"hmm you'll have to wait and see"
We chatted for a while until our dinner came. We both ate it very quickly! The waiter came and put some chocolate puddings in front of us
"we didn't order this?" I said
"it's on the house"
"oh"
I started to eat but Sam just stated at me
"what? Why are you just staring at me?" it was quite strange after 2 minutes
"we have been together for nearly a year now and I know this is quite sudden but I've wanted to ask you this for a while now"
I stared at him confused. He got up and knelt down on one knee. My heart jumped. Oh my god!! Everyone I the room stopped eating and looked at us
"Resme Luck will you do me the honour of marrying me?" he stared at me hopefully
"oh my god!!!" I felt very flustered, I realised that he was waiting for an answer
"yes... Yes of course!"
He placed the golden ring on my finger, it had little diamond on my finger. Everyone around us smiled as I kissed him passionately. I was married to the man of my dreams forever!
