Enough is never really enough─somebody always wants more. The hunger for power, money, fame...it always gets you in the end. You start the game with a clear head, & by the time the final bell rings you've become just another blood-lusting mutt who can't see straight. No regards for anyone but yourself. Have you even looked in the mirror? Perhaps you've looked too much & can't even recognize yourself anymore. But none of that matters to you, does it? Because once you've joined the "in crowd", you wouldn't do anything remotely original or like yourself for fear of being kicked out & unaccepted. Well that's fine. I hope you live happily ever after, though I know that's impossible. I, myself, would rather sit through the rest of my life in my familiar house with the ones I love than be noticed & popular with everyone else. So enjoy your life while you can pretend to, but know that society will pick off every original thought in your head like a vulture to a carcass, until you are left bare & stoic.

I believe in John Lennon because he told me all I need is love, & to me that seems pretty accurate.
