Did you ever take the time
To watch the sunrise in the morning
Or watch it as it goes to bed at night
Have you ever sat and wondered
As the fluffy clouds drift by
Or watched the lightening
Streak across the sky
Have you ever seen a shooting star
Or held a firefly
Or have you merely closed your eyes
And let life pass you bye
Life is far to precious
To go through with closed eyes or asleep
One day you may wake up to find it gone
So stop and smell the roses
Touch the frost that’s on the trees
Turn your face into the wind
And feel the gentle breeze
