Blogging

I have been using social networking sites for years. I have twitter, Facebook, Flickr, msn, google +, LinkedIn, the usual lot.

I have found it a pain in the bottom updating them all. I wanted to link them all together and have one updating the rest, the best one I have found is LinkedIn, but this is mainly used by media professionals. Ok for me as that's what I am.

But, I want something more, be able to post more. The only way I have been able to do that is via a blog.

I have been blogging in total for a couple of years, but the end of last year, I started a new professional type blog. My blog is http://mattyoreilly.wordpress.com

That blog site has some info about me and what I do, links to my Flickr and twitter and also a showreel of my media work.

I think blogs are the future of social networking, especially if people want to write more content then you can in just a status bar.
