It's funny how little you know about the people around you, you think you know so much about your best friend or your mother or your brother but odds are you know next to nothing.
Honestly how much do the people around you know about you?
Odds are that they know the tip of your crazy, unique ice berg.
We all try to hid behind these paper emotionless masks, so that we don't stand out, so we are indifferent, so that no one body stops and judges us; looks at us with that face that means a thousand hurtful words.
People are often so ignorant of the consequences of their words and actions.
The problem is that you could go through hell and back and they would never know because we never tell anyone: we seem to think that no-one else has done that and that no one would bother to help.
You could achieve so much in one day or make so many mistakes and you have no one to share it with, no-one to look you in the eye and genuinely say that they are proud of you or tell you that you can do better tomorrow.
It's hard to talk to people because no one really understands you or why that one song means so much to you or why you love a certain blog so much, why you dance when everyone is watching you.
Everyone has a story they carry and everyone living
on this earth is fighting a hard battle, even though some may be harder than others, These secrets drag us down. And maybe just maybe these personal wars wouldn't be so hard if we shared some things. If we actually explained ourselves, instead of shouting in their faces that they don't understand.
And of course it will be hard to tell the people closest to you because you don't want to look like a failure or look crazy but honestly if they really loved you it wouldn't matter to them, as Dr Seuss famously said 'Those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind'
