A mothers love is something
That cannot be denied
From the very time that we breath
It is the tightest bond that's tied
It's a love that we all know or should do in our lives
It's a love that grows and grows and can never be denied
The hands that gently caress and surround us in our pain
And when we are so far from home
Who we long to see again
The confident the teacher, The big sister and the nurse,
All these hats our mothers wear
Although pushing us in tenderness
Because we know she cares
But mum rest up and stop your rushing here and there.
Sit down and put your feet up in daddies special chair.
For today sweet ma is your mummies day
And today it is the day
That all the children around the world do little things in love to pay
They will bring to you your breakfast
Some toast maybe an egg
But remember all
their effort and the mess they leave
Is just best left unsaid!
Have a peaceful, restful day
All mummies and grandmas
And remember that we love you so
Whether we are near or whether we are far.
