It's not technically your house, but it morally is. Your parents just want to show some authority over you to really point out who's the boss. Them saying it's not your house means "my house, my rules". If they ask you to clean, it's mostly just so you can contribute to your home's wellbeing. Don't go nuts over it, different parents will have different rules or values. This is nothing, trust me :)
