On the swing
The wind blows.
On it sits a little girl.
The park seems empty
From all but her.
The only sound
Is the whistle screech
Of the playing dead.
Going round
And
Round
On the roundabout.
A driver stops
And looks around.
He sees this girl
on her own.
Looking lost
Without hope.
He parked
The car.
And walked towards her.
"Excuse me child, are you alright?"
The wind
Went wild.
Tearing at his clothes and hair,
Like fingers trying to pull him back.
Screaming in his ear to turn back, and run away from her!
Waving away the words on the wind.
He stood in the park, in front of the swing.
Bending down, he tried to look her in the face, but all he could see was her bowed head.
"Are you ok hun?, is everything alright?"
He touched her arm, another mistake.
The wind stopped,
Everything was still.
He looked around wondering what was happening.
He tried to move his arm back, but it was stuck still, frozen in place.
He turned to look back at her.
Her head moving slowly up.
Her eyes bright electric blue,
Skin as white as snow.
The colours of death.
"Wha..what's happening to me?"
He cried.
Her lips parted
In a devilish grin.
"You should of listened to the wind, for I am ok mortal man, but now your soul is mine to keep"
Her childish voice sung,
Her Fangs revealed behind her teeth.
So a quick warning to all those who read...
the beast will takes any shape to trap it's prey!
