Metamorphosize

Spawned under murky water
In another lifetime,
With need to break
And need to wake
This life of mine.

Hard to breath
In a world hard to conceive,
Hard to see
How someone
Or something
Like me
Could complete
This journey.

Odds against me,
Against the odds,
Beams I sought
And dreams I thought
From a heart in the know
And with instinct to grow
I had to break,
I had to go.

It took a bold brave choice to try,
And a bold brave chance to fly.
But I took my flight to touch the sky
And here and now I can testify.

Life's too short to wonder why
But it ain't too short to try,
You can grow and evolve;
Metamorphosize,
Live life like the dragonfly;
Fly.
