The darkness
Leads me to light
Down so deep
A place not known
Hidden from all
Intense and profound
I had closed my eyes
To beautiful things
For I was taken
By hurt and pain
So to see
This light
Feeling for me
Finding me again
Transcends me
Lifts me high
Discarding the dark
The dark
That held
Vice like
Suffocatingly so
Has all
But gone

I've been running so long, I feel as if I have to, Though I know it's wrong, I want to perfect you. I've been running so fast, I feel as if I have to, Although it's in the past, I want to change you.
At last. I admire her honesty. I knew it. Now she's free. Mind racing. Heart thumping. She's crying. Inside a little piece of me's dying. Gotta be strong. No time to shatter. Listen to Metallica.
Remember her. The girl who always had a smile for everyone. She would make time if she didn’t have it. She was always there for you. She used to sing her heart out with joy.
Now, from these eyes Stream rivers of broken Hymns, troubled thoughts And shattered dreams; Crippled soul shackled by The shadows of your falsity, Tormented with thorns of Deviousness and pretense.
Fresh; This day. Unusual; The breeze Feels sweet, Allowing Me to Breathe, Deeply. Dew drops; Slipping Away. Making Allowance For the Softness Of the Sun To shine Upon me; Carefree.
