It's my birthday today
The 21st of May
Just thought I'd let you know
As its the big 4-0
They say life just begins
It only made me cringe
Getting older I feared
Wrinkles have appeared
My body has changed
Which is rather strange
So is this now my life?
Would I go under the knife?
Nah I'm not that vain
To go through so much pain
I'll grow to love this oldie
I've not turned green and mouldy
Simply get older with grace
A full of character face
A body that's seen much
A body in need of a retouch
