The moons shadow creeps into my room
Reflecting all around
Brings in light and takes the gloom
Shining brightly on walls and ground
It glistens proudly as it says hello
Touching everywhere so gently
That pure mystical glow
Makes me ever more so sleepy
I close my eyes feeling all calm inside
The moons light soothes me so
In its purity I like to dreamily hide
All my worries I can let go

Writing has been my friend since a teenager...I laugh, cry, think, pretend, smile as I do it. I feel that I communicate better through my writing as in person I can appear a tad scatty.
As the velvet night sky draws closer in. And the moon and stars shine brightly. The air so cold it chatters my teeth. And makes me shudder beneath. Twinkling stars from up above.
Close your eyes just for a while, And tell me what you see. Shut the noises, stop the voices, Breathe in like you're free. Clear your mind, wipe your thoughts, It's easy if you try.
It's ordinary, but it's beauty aches to be realized. So ordinary, it's grace so often disguised. Moment by moment it lies within these confines. Too often overlooked by preoccupied minds.
Poem I was awakened by the morning breeze, Right as it was blowing on to me, Making me shiver in my bed. I walked to the open door of the balcony, Feeling more tired than ever.
@Munford ha ha...you are making me blush now....just the best feeling to have people like your work and get it...I used to think I wrote things that only I got...so it's been great sharing my work and reading other people's amazing work, peeps such as yourself!...anyway you really are kind my lovely...now where do I send that £20 for the lovely comments? Lol
