Summer will soon be yesterday
Autumn knocks at our door
The finery of the summer bloom
Will be a fading memory
The nights begin to draw in
Closing summers curtains
To make way for autumnal joy
The leaves will soon drop
And float on the breeze
The morns begin to nip
Evenings catch up with day
The sun sets on the horizon
A seasons chapter begins
I stare in wonder
At the beauty of change
Each season a new dawn
Bringing natures gifts
To all who appreciate it
To all who stare in awe
At the wonderment of seasons
