Senseless Woes

Does the moon smile down upon me?
And shall I ever deserve to be deserved?
What morals lie ahead for each of us?
And will we ever fathom our destiny?
My chains hold my senses down low
And the clasps of humanity suffocate
Such beauty and ugliness in one form
Yes seeds of fidelity and lust I sow
Greater women have walked my way
Greater men have crossed my path
But acquaintances I need not gather
I merely keep them for another day
The trials of all our senseless woes
Gather dust on a shelf full of memories
One day we may peep and take a look
Or bury it deep and follow where life goes

Writing has been my friend since a teenager...I laugh, cry, think, pretend, smile as I do it. I feel that I communicate better through my writing as in person I can appear a tad scatty.

Why?

Why. Why must life me so unfair, with so much hate, and despair. Why must people die, people cry, people lie. Why can a soul never be free. Why do the tools of oppression capture you and me.
