one is the safest number. you have no one to fear, but you.
two is the most vulnerable number. two will always become one then two again.
three is the most jealous number. two of the three appear happy to the third. really, all of them are sad.
four is the most competitive number. two against two. who's better than who?
five is the loneliest. in a room with five people, you always see the other four as much better than you.
but six is the worst, for after six loves, the heart bursts.
