I don't do it to punish myself or to get my mind off being sad. I do it because I love the rush of doing something I know is bad. I like how tragically beautiful it looks. I'd never cut to kill myself or get myself hospitalized. I love life. I just like to give myself permanent marks, like tattoos almost. I like to be able to look at a scar and have people look at it and it to show both of us that I'm not okay and that's okay. I like the aftermath of it.
