Purple fire will melt my feet,
I'll wander over to the Lord to meet,
I will kneel in eternal flames,
Unheard words will voice my appeal,
Skin will crisp and burn,
For my life, I'll truly yearn,
"Release me," I plead,
As he chooses for me to bleed,
The heat makes bones break to bits,
He leans in, touches my forehead with his lips,
"This is your release," he murmurs,
"Every soul is mine, all become Burners."
Spirits of blackened light drift past,
He smiles, white teeth flash,
"What do you want from Hell?"
"All I wish from hell, is a fond farewell,"
He laughed and mountains fell,
Long-fingers rest atop a great three-headed beast,
All three heads whimpered,
A thought inside my head glimmered,
"Your beast is ill, I see,"
"My guardian is fine," Said He,
I shook my head, standing from the flames,
And my burnt shell went to feel the monster's veins,
"He is hurt," I say, "Let me help him,"
"I fear he has broken a limb,"
Dark Lord of the inferno, face sinking in grief,
"He will heal, he is not your earthly mastiff,"
I shook my head, letting a tear evaporate from my cheek,
"Demons have entered the wound, he is too weak..."
The Lord's anger smoked red in a flare,
Avoidance of immolation, is this your dare?
"Even you, Lucifer, must care,"
All his face was a frown,
Underneath a twisted, blackened crown,
Reluctant eyes turned to Cerberus, pained,
A glimmer shot through eyes ashamed,
"Save my beast, and you will get your farewell,
I will spare you from a fiery cell in Hell."
