I keep a sliver of my silver soul,
Alive and hidden for when I'm old,
To rest away from prying eyes,
The hypocrites, and their lies,
To keep the silver free and light,
It must hide from life's plight,
Heartbreak, betrayal and loss,
Just too much, at too high a cost,
My soul would shatter to dust,
So on I hide it, like I must.

Good idea, I will have a search in case I did, when I was young. My memory is so bad that it's quite possible! 😹😹😹👵
