I don't care about your face,
It doesn't matter, it's not my place,
All our hearts, minds and skin,
All different but the same within,
I see your eyes, unique and bright,
Though some narrow to give me fright,
I have made my fair share of judgement,
It's only natural to say, I suppose,
A witch is one with a hooked nose,
The poor are stupid and ugly,
Blondes are supposed to be bubbly,
Obese kids live on fast food,
Teenagers are all in the "hood",
It's not true,
most judgements are lies,
A simple pattern's guise!
So it helps make quick sense of the world,
The one we are thrown in to, hurled,
But that is no excuse,
As it might end in upset or abuse,
Instead, I think, take your time,
See how they laugh, work or rhyme,
We are all human, all friends, really we are,
All dreaming and living in minds not so far.
