I'm missing you,
Like I shouldn't be,
I haven't even made it to day three!
Don't let my brain think,
Don't let my heart sink,
...Or swell,
I'm doing reasonably well,
Learnt from my mistakes,
Normally full of haste,
I want an independent judge,
Just to stop me, or give me a nudge,
Wouldn't life be simpler?
But no longer a puzzle,
More like a dog on a muzzle,
Perhaps it's ok to say,
I just don't mind either way?
I do not have a choice to make,
It's not like it's make or break,
...He's there.
...I'm here.
...We're sometimes together.
Why over-complicate?
