A rare, crimson beast,
Feathered, not fleeced,
Like fire but hotter,
Floating on still water,
A bird of power, awe,
Unafraid of law or claw,
A mix of two elements,
A pure, tranquil elegance,
Fire and water as one,
Giving rivers the power of the sun,
Holding balance between,
Raindrops and steam,
A Phoenix as her father,
Flying fish as a brother,
Neck arched and gentle,
For a union so elemental,
You will never see her swim,
For if you do, your end is grim.
