My road of life has turned straight,
Clarity, I await with breath a'bait,
For all those twists and turns,
The enemies and lovers yearned,
Narled oaks stood proud through time,
Wells with cast wishes from dimes,
How I have slumbered in the sun rays,
Laughed and danced through rainy days,
Corners, crossroads and dead-ends,
Faces float out of many special friends,
All those hands that I have touched,
The straws on which I've clutched,
But now, the horizon beckons me,
And this straight road is all I can see,
The people that walked once by my side,
Have fallen cold and slowly died,
So as I move my feet to the west,
I reflect on a life truly bless'd,
A breeze to lift my dust to a new world,
Ashes reborn in wings now unfurled.

@Tizzy @minxyMolly - hehehe she is the cutest, friendliest little feral cat. I want to take her home with me, so wish I could. 😌
@minxyMolly - awwww darn it I am tempted!! Biggest downside of being a student and never being in the same place for more than a month or two! 😝
