Weary

Just give me a space to rest my head,
For it is full, slow and weary,
Wind will take my troubles,
And sun will relieve my pains,
I will close heavy eyes,
And let daydreams fill my mind,
I'll drift away, I dare not rise,

Let my roots fan deep into the earth,
Feel the grass, and become the dirt,
My body will no longer be mine,
Soon all the world will disappear,
Belief will become reality,
Thoughts may begin to clear,

Heal me, earth,
Hold me, trees,
Bless me, sunshine breeze,

My head is heavy,
I just need a place to put it down,
I'll come back for it one day,
Once the rest of me is far away.
