I am the depth of a mirror -
one quarter inch, or less.
Your reflection resonates,
like ripples on a stormy sea;
there are no ripples on waves you say,
I too, was this blind -
seeing only oceans and waves.
It gets better
with time,
you will see grains
and ridges,
furrows
you never knew were there.
In these times
you will wish, to lay under the waves,
to feel it all - you will see that this moment,
is all that you have
and you will want to be swept away.
