For me, today should be filled with great mirth For it's the day of my country's birth!
A wondrous occasion, having fun in the sun Where across Canada, we come together as one
Canada is an amazing place, And so it should be treated with dignity and grace
We wear red and white to show our pride, Dancing and celebrating into the night
And so everyone in the country, stand up and say: I'm proud to be a Canadian, eh!
