I claim to be a lion, but I cannot roar I let out a small growl but I still want more

I claim to be a horse, but I cannot trot Time and time again, it makes me distraught

I claim to be a duck, but I cannot quack I try my best, but I just don't have the knack

I claim to be a bird, but I cannot fly Why, oh why do I feel the need to lie?

There's so many things that I claim to be, Why can't I just be content being me?
