It's a wonderful feeling
To publish my works
That a silly poem I wrote
Might make dozens smirk
It's interesting really
That you like what I say
That my little words
Influence your day
And sure you'll forget
Every stanza I typed
And you won't remember
Every story that I write
But it's easy and fun
To post all my thoughts
To publicize my diary
And put my life on the spot
To organize syllables
In straight perfect lines
To order all my words
In fun little rhymes
So thank you, to you
For reading this post
For spending a moment
On a poetry dose

In all seriousness, I owe a thank you to anyone who reads my writing. I'm just a high school student typing these up in my free time, and you reading them means quite a bit to me.
